Surge Arrester Discharge Counter 220kv Compact With Rubber Gasket
The discharge counters, JS(Y)-5, 8, 10 , are connected in series to
the surge arrester in the earth wire of surge arrester to record
the surge arrester discharge times,and mainly composed of sample
resistors, Silicon Bridge Rectifiers, high voltage capacitor,
electromagnetic counter etc. It is the use of the discharge current
through the arrester, the resistor voltage generated on-chip, and
the silicon bridge rectifier to charge the capacitor, as the
discharge electromagnetic counter, each counter is recorded once an
electric discharge to achieve the number of operations recorded

5,The arrester monitor, which fully closed by metal case, is
composed of two units, discharge count and leakage current
measurement. And it’s not affected by the external environment with
the good sealing performance. Under the normal operating voltage,
the milliammeter of the monitor will measure the changes of leakage
current which over the arrester and monitor. When the arrester and
monitor receive lightning wave, operating wave or power frequency
overvoltage, powerful action current will be transferred to counter
circuit from leakage current measurement circuit, and the
milliammeter will be protected, and the counter part will realize
the function of recording the action times, by using the current
energy of lightning wave, operating wave or power frequency
